Day 15 – Back on the Water

Today, we were right back on the water, the Colorado River, and it felt like we finally cracked the code. Two weeks of grinding, learning the flow, and adjusting to life on the water, and now we’re in sync. Me and Ethan had a hell of a day out there—one of those days that reminds you why you’re doing this in the first place.

It started off like any other day, but the river has a way of surprising you when you least expect it. First, we stumbled upon some hot springs, a perfect natural reset. After days of fire and freezing nights, soaking in that hot water felt like heaven. Then, out of nowhere, a group of tequila girls appeared—pure river magic. They were cruising along, carefree and generous, offering up shots of tequila like we were old friends. To top it all off, we crossed paths with a beer boat. Yes, you read that right—a boat filled with beer. Cold, glorious beer, floating down the Colorado like it had been sent from the river gods themselves.

Thanks to everyone for the drinks—it turned a good day into a great one. Cold beers, tequila, hot springs, and perfect weather—it doesn’t get much better than that. It’s days like these that make the long nights, the freezing cold, and the dead phone all worth it. Out here, the river gives as much as it takes.
